With Spirit Guides: A Visit

There are nights in which I ask the Universe for guidance. Normally I get it through the week following my heavy-lidded request in serendipities and signs, but this summer night I was addressed immediately… perhaps it was my whispered desperation or the fact that it asked after my soul mission in this lifetime, but I got rushed to the front of the line.
In the dream, I was approached by a female bushpig and her young, a female kewel and her young, all sporting the unusual coloring I gave them here. They were gentle, insistent I run my hands through their fur, and encouraging their young to approach me… all very good, strong signs that this was a spirit guide visitation. In dreams, the presence of a bushpig with young indicates the possibility of reaching good fortune if one is driven and unrelenting. The presence of a kewel with young does indicate the need to stay nimble and alert against threats and obstacles. I woke from the dream feeling their fur between my fingers and a renewed confidence in the path I was clearing for myself, even with the obstacles presenting themselves before me.
The dream was so powerful I was determined to capture the color scheme and tranquility I experienced within it.
